Heading off to Vegas this morning with a few other guys for the World Series. 3 day contest Thurs-Sat, $20 wp, 15 optional races a day at the major tracks, no mandatories, thank god! 1st prize 270k, they pay down to 60th. Feel free to chime in this week on your price plays, and I'll try and update the standings each morning. If anybody's interested in next year's grammy's future odds, let me know, and I'll try to hunt them down.     Grin

Good Luck, Don.  No, GREAT LUCK!

A friend of mine might be there.  Name is Chris Taylor.  You would like him (no one could not like him) and he's one good handicapper.

Good luck Donnie P!  I think you should think about changing your username if your going to be playing in all these contests.  Your namesake is now 1-40 and looks like his last 6 have been in Mexico.  You cant be a hanger if your going to cash in these contests.

Day 1 update. Ended up around 35th out of 659 entries. Leader is at 1890, with me about 1120. needed a 15 to 1 in last at oaklawn to save the day. Crazy bombs at Gulfstream kept the room buzzing all day. They are paying down to 60th, with almost 300k to first. Thinking Ill need 2500 total to cash, and 3000 for top 10.

Dropped down but still in top 100, omly one nice 10 to 1 out of 30th right now. Very chalky day, it was tough to make a nice hit. Big day today for all!
